America certainly has a lot of contradictions, pretending to be "free" on the one hand while something as a vibrator/personal massager illegal. &lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;When students fail at high school/college/shuushoku (getting a job), they do what everyone else does, cope in almost all cases. Really, the idea of being laid off from a job was aboout 90% alien to Japan when I came here in 1991, and now it's accepted as something that happens during the course of the economy.
