Friends! I like the blog! Feel free to come and check out ours, what I think is the only site devoted to good beer in japan...written in English!
It's true, sake isn't distilled, but rather fermented just like beer, and the new Kirin will be 100% all malt, which many of the top beers are these days. In my humble opinion, Suntory's The Premium malt's is the best that the big four make!!!
I've signed up and should be getting some beers from Kirin early to try out their new style!

If Kirin goes all-malt, it could be awesome. But the Japanese palette may not be ready for it. Pity, because unlike "new Coke" this really is an improvement on the absolute scale.
